Succeed in Martial Arts Helping Black Belts World Wide

I have to be quite honest with everyone... When we launched our online Taekwondo training program, I thought for sure that most of our students were going to be people that did not want to learn in a formal environment, or they lived in a remote area and could not get to a good school.

Well, as it turns out, a good majority of our students are already involved in some sort of Taekwondo training. In addition to that, many of them are Taekwondo Black Belts.

So why continue their Taekwondo training online? The answer is simple. These people are forward thinking students that refuse to become complacent and desire to have more knowledge of Taekwondo and the martial arts. These are the students that are coming back to their classes with an open mind and a better understanding of how to execute their Taekwondo moves.

Did You Know...

...That it takes 47 years to reach 9th Dan in Taekwondo? And, it takes a lifetime to reach 10th Dan. Huh??? So exactly how long is a lifetime, you might ask. A lifetime is up until you die, plain and simple.

In most Taekwondo organizations, you cannot achieve the rank of 10th Dan. We believe that as long as you are alive, you can continue learning. A 10th Dan signifies the end, or the top. Now, it makes sense that if you are still learning and growing as a Taekwondo practicioner, then you should be withheld that highest promotion, right? Well, that is exactly the reason the 10th Dan is not granted. It is often used as an honorable rank that is only granted once a 9th Dan has passed away. At this point, it is safe to say, this person has truly learned all they can possibly learn in Taekwondo.

Taekwondo As a Way of Life...

Whether you spell Taekwondo- Tae Kwon Do, Taekwon do, or Taekwon-do, it means the same thing...  the way of the foot and hand.  Obviously, translated to English, it sounds a bit odd.  Digging deeper into the meaning of Taekwondo is more of a way of life than about kicking and punching.  The kicks and punches are merely a means to more profound development.

Ones Taekwondo training should never be focused on the physical attributes, but rather the mental.  True martial artists and especially Taekwondoists train to develop their Focus, Confidence, Perseverance, Self Control, and Indomitable Spirit.  And, no training is complete without learning to be Modest and Courteous.  Whether your training is to develop yourself as a sparring competitor, a forms champion, or simply to develop yourself mentally and physically, "the way" is through the "foot" and the "hand."

I look forward to training you!
