  Front Kick

Front Kick -- Ahp chagi

Step 1- Kicking stance or pal chagi joonbi

 

 

 

Front Kick

Front Kick-- Ahp chagi

Step 2- Point your knee directly at your target.

 

 

 

Front Kick

Front Kick -- Ahp chagi

Step 3- Execute front kick weapon into target.  Kick with the ball of your foot.  (Point foot forward and pull toes backward)

 

 

 

Side Kick

Side Kick -- Yup chagi

Step 1- Kicking stance or pal chagi joonbi

 

 

 

Side Kick

Side Kick-- Yup chagi

Step 2- Pivot supporting foot 180 degrees while bringing kicking leg perpendicular to body.  Aim heel toward target. 

 

 

Side Kick

Side Kick -- Yup chagi

Step 3- Execute side kick weapon into target.  Kick with the heel of your foot.  Body, kicking leg, and supporting foot should be linear.

 

 

Roundhouse Kick

Roundhouse Kick -- Dolio Chagi

Step 1- Kicking stance or pal chagi joonbi

 

 

 

Roundhouse Kick

Roundhouse Kick-- Dolio chagi

Step 2- Point your knee directly at your target while pivoting supporting foot 180 degrees.

 

 

 

Roundhouse Kick

Roundhouse Kick -- Dolio chagi
